Report of "The Go-Giver"

The Go-Giver is one of those books you need to read every so often because there are so many great concepts to lead your life on. I would rank it up there with one of my favorites, along with "Never Eat Alone" and "Mr. Schmooze". The great thing is they are all very similar in their topic when you get down to the very basics. That idea is take care of others and you will be taken care of. I really love books that tell you great ideas but share in it great stories. The way the weave through the life of Joe, the main character, and how he sets about using the laws of success is done in a way that it is hard to put the book down. The laws are great not only to live your business life, but every facet. The laws were:

1. The Law of Value – your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment
2. The Law of Compensation – your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them
3. The Law of Influence – your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interest first
4. The Law of Authenticity – the most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself
5. The Law of Receptivity – the key to effectively giving is to stay open to receiving

As stated above I think this is a great read and a great way to lead your life.
