Excitement

I writing this as my youngest two get ready to go trick or treating for Halloween. While annoyed with their  excitement I can't help but feel love to see the happiness in their eyes.  When was the last time you felt that?  Maybe when your children were born?  Or how about your wedding day? Why do we lose that when we get older?  I guess the best thing I can do is try to piggy back on my kids' feelings and make sure they stay as young as possible before "being an adult" robs it from them.
